Psychic Study of Man

 Awakening Our Consciousness
(Source Unknown)

Learning notes from the lecture "The Causes of Our Suffering" on 22.06.2016 at Sharing Coffee, HCMC.

We live in 2 worlds at the same time, the outer world perceived by the senses of external perceptions such as sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch and the inner world perceived with the sense of self-observation such as thoughts, ideas, emotions, longings, hopes, desires, sadness, joy, etc.

The inner constitution of human being including the Essence, the Ego and the Personality.

Ego (the psychological aggregates) is the sum of our defects or vices. It gives ugliness or darkness to life, creating conflict. Ego is the cause of all our sufferings.  Ego creates a sense of separation from others and from the Being. Ego = I = Myself. Its main attribute is evil. Ego is the opposite of our Essence. Essence is bottled up (trapped) in the Ego. The Ego imprisons our Essence.

Essence is the spark of divinity inside us. Essence contains all of our qualities or virtues such as compassion, courage, generosity, fortitude, love, discipline, kindness, good will, selfless helping, gratitude, patience, tolerance, joy for happiness of others... and every worthly virtue a human being is capable of. Essence is eternal (never dies). It gives beauty to the human being. Its main attribute is consciousness. Essence is the seed or embryo from which the Soul is born. In a new born baby, the ego has not yet developed, and thus there is much of the essence.

Consciousness is the capacity to perceive and comprehend all the phenomena, both outside and inside ourselves. Consciousness is light. Consciousness is NOT intellect, personality or intelligence. Consciousness does not develop with time, with reading, with social status, with changing beliefs. Consciousness is the characteristics of our essence.

 Keep expanding our consciousness
(Source Unknown)

To awake our consciousness, we need to destroy the ego: the fight against evil to liberate our consciousness. How to fight it? Through doing inner work such as observing ourselves, be patient... All religions talk about the same thing in recuperating our consciousness. Meditation can give consciousness more power and help us to understand our ego (how it works, how it controls ourselves).

Ex.: Egyptian mythology, Osiris symbolized for the Essence and  Seth for the Ego. Christianity, the ego symbolizes through the seven capital sins. Fairy tales (children's consciousness is still strong). Indian legend, the fight of Krishna and Kali Yeni. Buddhism, the fight between Mara and Buddha. Odin (God of Light) vs. Loki (the Genius of Darkness). Ancient Greek, Theseus and Minotaur, Perseus and Medusa (Perseus using Athena's shield thus Medusa was petrified by her own reflection  - a profound implication on fighting against our own ego through self-reflection, self-observation).

The 7 sins vs. the 7 holy virtues
(Source: http://severalshadesofred.deviantart.com)

Personality  - the vehicle of manifestation of the Ego or the Essence. Personality formed in childhood through imitation. Thus it is important in education to children by being a good example. The personality is fully developed at around 7 years of age. Parents can and should help children not to develop the Ego, and insist in developing their virtues. It is urgent that children receive nourishment for the essence and nourishment for the personality.

The Observation of Oneself - The Awakening of Consciousness

To observe and to observe oneself are two completely different things, however, both demand attention. In observation attention is directed toward the outside, towards te external world, through the windows of the senses. In observation of oneself, the attention is directed inward, and that is why the sense of external perception are of no use. The starting point for the work upon oneself is self-observation.

The type of knowledge that transforms someone internally can never be attained through external observation. The true knowledge which can really originate a fundamental internal change within us, has irect self-observation of oneself as foundation. As we persevere with the self-observation of ourselves, the sense of inner self-observation will be progressively developing. Only like this we will really know ourselves integrally, discorvering the secret of our actions and understand those which have been called "Essence, Ego and Personality".

Consciousness can only be awakened by means of conscious works and upright efforts. The Awakened Consciousness allows us to experience reality in a direct way.

When the psychological I has died, the Essence shines within us. The free essence bestows upon us inner beauty, from such beauty emanates perfect happiness and true love. The Essence possesses multiple senses of perfection and extraordinary natural powers. When we "die within ourselves," when we dissolve the "psychological I," we enjoy the precious senses and powers of the Essence.

An Essence is nourished with tenderness, affection without limits, love, music, flowers, beauty, harmony, etc. A personality must be nourished with a good example of our parents, with wise teaching at school, etc.

Self Realization of the Being is the purpose of existence.

Each one of us has his own divinity, his own Being, his own particular and individual Monad. The Being in each of us, the Divine that humans carry with in is the Multiplicity inside the Unity.
"If one succedds in eliminating the "myself" (my vices, my worries, my anger, my attachments), it is clear that what follows then is:

That which does not belong to time,
That which is beyond the body,
That which is unknown to human reason,
That which is called
Happiness."

The 4th Dimension

Lucid dreaming in the astral plane
Credits: Starseed Academy

Learning notes from the lecture "The Fourth Dimension" on 18.06.2016 at Sharing Coffee, HCMC.

When we develop the spatial sense of the Consciousness we can see all things in themselves, as the way they are.

What we consider reality is limited by our perceptions. We cannot perceive the superior planes of the universe with the 3 dimensional senses (sight, touch, etc...). We need a new education, we need to change the way we see the world.

Euclidian geometry is 3D geometry and Newtonian physics is 3D physics. Our mind is trapped in mechanical concepts.

ET and UFO know how to change vibration to move between planes of different dimensions, using high technology, such as in the time of Atlantis. "Cosmic airplanes" are normal for them.

The Multidimensionality of Space

Space is multidimensional because it is infinite.

We are living in a multidimensional world. Unfortunately, people can only perceive three dimensions. We must develop other faculties that enable us to know the fourth vertical. Fortunately, in the occult anatomy of the human being we find, in a latent state, the senses that can enableus to enter not only the fourth vertical, but also the fifth, sixth and seventh dimensions. This is possible when we develop them methodically, in a scientific way.

The "three-dimensionality" of space is in reality a property of its reflection in our Consciousness. The three-dimensionality of the world is simply the result of our own personal receptiveness.

Space depends on the spatial sense. Inferior animals have sensations; superior animals have sensations and perceptions. The intellectual animal called man has sensations, perceptions and concepts.

1D Single line, such as insects, snails - 1 brain (motor-instinctive sexual brain)

2D See world as a surface, such as superior animals like horses, ogs, cats, elephants - 2 brains (the motor-instinctive sexual brain + the emotional brain)

3D Correct perceptions - 3 brains (the motor-instinctive sexual brain + the emotional brain + the intellectual brain) --> Man

Multidimensional creature - extraordinarily developed spatial sense - people with clairvoyance capability. Their superior bodies are developed. For them, the world is not so limited. --> Angel-men, Super-men, Genies...

The Enigma of Time

"Any  advanced humanity of the distant future will be able to create spacecraft that can instantaneously break the light barrier. Such spaceships, which are based on a new physics - the TETRADIMENSIONAL one - will travel through the fourth vertical faster than light. Then, the conquest of infinite space will be a concrete, clear and definitive fact.

Beyond the light barrier (300,000 km/s) there is the 4th dimension..."

~ The Secret Doctrine of Anahuac
Time in itself, as the Fourth Dimension, intrinsically contains two fundamental properties: the temporal one and the spatial one. Before Einstein had surprised the world with his famous theory of Relativity, any cultured man conceived time as a straight line. Today, intellectuals accept the fact that time is not linear but curved.

In the 4th dimension, we can really travel through time, submerge in the remote past or go to the distant future; remember that time is circular.

When the 4th co-ordinate is drawn, we shall be able to create a new Tetra-dimensional geometry. We can easily understand that, on this real basis, we can create a revolutionary physics with four dimensions. Then we shall be able to make spacecraft which can instantaneously break the light barrier. Such spaceships would travel through time at speeds millions of times superior to light. This kind of ship, propelled by solar energy, would not need to be loaded with any kind of fuel, and they would travel freely through infinite space.

In 1905, Einstein formulated "Theory of Relativity" - everything is relative in relationship with a point of reference (time, gravity, etc.). Part of this important theory is the unification of mass and energy through the famous equation: E = m x (c^2). Matter is crystalzed energy.

Before Einstein, Hermes Trismegistus wrote "Principle of Vibration": "Nothing rests; everything moves, everything vibrates." Other scientists studied the 4th dimension: Hermann Minkowski (1864-1909), Charles Howard Hinton (1853-1907, "tesseract - methods of visualizing the 4th dimension).

Phenomena of the 4th Dimension

The 4th coordinate is the very Hyperspace of Hypergeometry, which makes it possible to perform supernatural deeds, such as the disappearance or appearance of a body in the 3D space of Euclid, or taking an object out of a hermetically sealed box.

It has been completely demonstrated that when an electron and a positron are annihilated to liberate energy, two specks of light appear, that is, two Gamma rays. The experiments that have demonstrated this phenomenon consequently illustrate the existence of the 4th dimension.

ENIGMA: Metaphysical phenomena that cannot be explained by the laws of tridimensional physics (Euclid geometry, Newton physics, etc).

The Bermuda Triangle (opening gates betweem dimensions): several ships and aircrafts disappeared while passing over the area.

The island Non-Trabada (San Borondon) near the Spanish coast, disappeared in the 18th century (people lived there took the island into the spiritual dimension).

Mystic levitation: Many mystics levitated in front of people (they knew how to raise vibration, in 4D there is no gravity): St. Francis of Assisi, St. Dustan (988), St. Stephen, King of Hungary (1038), St. Teresa of Avila (1582)...

"Jinn" events: Some cultures believe that it is possible to take the physical body into the 4th Dimension: "Lung-gom-pa" runners in Tibet, "Jinn states".

The Philadelphia military experiment in 1943: teleporting the ship, raising the vibration of the ship.

The Kirlian Photograph by the Russian scientist is a machine to capture photos of aura. Everything has an etheric body.

Fritjof Capra - "The Tao of Physics" (1975).

Micho Kaku - "Hyperspace" on parallel universes, time wraps and the 10th dimension.
"The Future of the Mind" & "Parallel World".

Einstein - Hinton geometry (Hypercube 4D): expanded the Euclidean space in order to understand reality.

The space is multidimensional. Mayas, the Hebrew Kabbalah: 13 heavens, 9 infradimensions, 13 aeons...

"3D world is not everything. Certainly it is just one leaf on the tree of life.

Planes and sub-planes have never been clear and are very confusing... but important to understand."

~ Samuel Aun Weor

War is expensive.
Peace is priceless.

Exhortations

..."My friends, the time has come for you to know Melchizedek, the Genie of the Earth, the extraordinary Being who rules our world! If you learn to handle the Jinn Science, the day will come when you will be able to enter the Earth. Then you will experience by yourselves, in a direct way, that the Earth is hollow. There, you will also be able to meet many survivors of Lemuria and Atlantis, venerable old sages who developed the divine mysteries in their temples...

When you learn to handle the Jinn States, that is, when you can enter the 4th dimension, you will be able to visit the sacred land of the ancients, Milton's "Paradise Lost", the Garden of the Hesperides, where the rivers of pure life-water flow with milk and honey, the extraordinary region where the princes of fire, air, water and earth live...

With you bodies in the 4th dimension, you can travel to wherever you want. The only thing you are not allowed to do is to take the physical body to other planets- you cannot break this rule. Therefore, you have to be satisfied with travelling inside the Earth. For example, you can travel to the Magic Cities founded by the Tuatha De Danann - there are Magic Cities in Europe. The Mayas have other Magic Cities in Yucatan, where you can receive instructions. You can also travel to the Temple of Chapultepec in Mexico. But of course, I cannot assure you that you will be allowed to enter. If they let you in, fine; if they do not, take it easy. If they do not let you in, it means that you still have to work hard on yourselves, that you have to dissolve the animal Ego..."

GQ1: 6 Cancer Meditation and Study Report - Esoteric Astology 1

GQ1-6 INTRODUCTION TO ESOTERIC ASTROLOGY - THE SIGNS

Study: This month we begin our work with the great Science of Astrology. Ordinarily it takes years to master this science. However, you will be taught a simple method to read consciousness in the signs - at the unconscious, conscious and superconscious levels; or the Moon Sign, the Sun Sign and the Ascendant Sign. This month, we start with the Sun Sign.

Raja Yoga Meditation: the third hindrance we focus upon is DESIRE - ATTACHMENT, the intense desire for sentient existence is attachment, and this trait is inherent in the substance of every form. Desire is attachment to objects of pleasure, and these objects cover all the attachments which a man forms - from the savage state of infant humanity up to discipleship. The Science of Right Detachment was given by Patanjali to help those upon the Path learn how to detach their senses from their usual “grip” on “things”, and we introduce the subject in a simple form this month.

GQ1-7 Raja Yoga Meditation: the fourth hindrance we focus upon is THE SENSE OF PERSONALITY. The "personality" or ego with a little "e", arises because of the tendency for the "knower" (you), to identify with the instruments of knowledge - especially with the mind and the contents of the mind. Little ego or personality develops as the mind is used to gather information about the external world.

GQ1-8 MEANS 1. THE COMMANDMENTS. These are the Raja Yoga equivalents to the Christian 10 Commandments. The first Commandment we study is to ABSTAIN FROM HARMFULNESS. Harmfulness is based on selfishness, and on an ego-centric attitude. It is action taken by the selfish one to - enforce, self-aggrandise, and self-gratify. He or she speaks words which damage, thinks thoughts which are poisonous, and acts in a way which results in harm.

GQ1-9 MEANS 1 THE COMMANDMENTS - 2: ABSTAIN FROM FALSEHOOD. Truth is one of the great problems which the aspirant has to solve, and he who attempts to speak only that which is entirely accurate will find himself confronted by very definite difficulties.

GQ1-10 MEANS 1 THE COMMANDMENTS - 3: ABSTAIN FROM THEFT. The third Commandment we focus upon refers not only to stealing things that are tangible and physical, but those things we improperly take emotionally and mentally.

GQ1-11 MEANS 1 THE COMMANDMENTS - 4: ABSTAIN FROM AVARICE. This deals with the sin of covetousness which is literally theft upon the mental plane. The sin of avarice may lead to any number of physical plane sins and is very powerful.

GQ1-12 MEANS 1 THE COMMANDMENTS - 5: ABSTAIN FROM MISUSING SEXUAL ENERGY. (The actual wording of this sutra 2.38 is) “by abstention from incontinence, energy is acquired.” Abstention from incontinence is literally desirelessness and governs the out-going tendencies to that which is not the self, which finds physical plane expression in the relation between the sexes. But any impulse which concerns the forms and the real man and which tends to link him to a form and to the physical plane is regarded as a form of incontinence.

STUDY - Esoteric Astology 1

My Sun Sign is Aquarius.

Personality level (Yoko Ono) - Disciple level (Eckhart Tolle) - Initiates level (Francis Bacon)

Q1a.     Do you agree or disagree that that person should be at that level? Please give the reason for your answer. If you disagree, at which level would you place that person?

- Personality level (Yoko Ono): I disagree that Yoko Ono at the personality level. I think she should be at Disciple level. It is because at the personality level, power is used for personal comfort, selfish and material gain while Yoko Ono is more than that. She is an active activist for world peace.

- Disciple level (Copernicus): I agree that Copernicus at the disciple level. His helio-centric model was revolutionary at his time, changing the way man perceives about the universe.

- Initiate level (Francis Bacon): I agree that Francis Bacon at the highly initiate level. He was the past life of the ascended master Saint Germain.

Your reasoning Daisy, is very good. It matters little whether the reader agrees or not. What matters is that you substantiate your reasons and perspective and this you have done.

Q1b.     Do you see the ray qualities that flow through that sign, in that person’s characteristics? How so?

  • Personality level (Yoko Ono): I see partly the 5th ray quality flow through Aquarius sign, in her characteristics with virtues such as justice, truthfulness, independence.
  • The qualities you have described could apply to any disciple. For fifth ray qualities and particularly Aquarius we would look for clarity, unlocking the mysteries of life, bringing something new and innovative to humanity, being on the cutting edge of newness that helps humanity. Yoko Ono did fulfill many of these qualities as she lived and is living her life.

- Disciple level (Copernicus):  I see very much of the 5th ray quality flow through Aquarius sign, in his characteristics with virtues such as accuracy, keen intellect, favor of science. This is good.

- Initiate level (Francis Bacon): I see very much of the 5th ray quality flow through Aquarius sign, in his characteristics with virtues such as accuracy, keen intellect, favor of science.

Q2:     Do you see any of the characteristics given for that sign in you? Please explain.

Yes, I do see the Aquarius sign’s characteristics in me such as independence, justice, truthfulness, humanitarian...Unless you are very involved in sciences the tendency for most people is to have the fifth ray on the mind. You have indicated in the past that you thought you had strong second ray qualities in soul and maybe even personality. Therefore the leap to think that fifth ray is in your mind is not too far out. If in the mind, we would look for clarity, methodology, following a linear and sequential approach to writing, creating lists.

Read the Labour of Hercules for your Sun Sign then:

Q3a.     Do you relate with the tests of that Labour? Can you share (briefly), at least one meaningful incident from your life, that you think is a result of the challenges of the Labour?

I want to share more on the Ageless Wisdom with my friends. But not so many of my friends from schools and childhood are interested in Spirituality.

Q3b.     Do you recognise the rays that flow through your Sun Sign - in you? How so?

I recognize the 5th ray of concrete knowledge and science that flow through my Aquarian Sun Sign. I’m quite interested in science (especially modern physics) and new technology. Ahaa!. This definitely speaks to a 5th ray somewhere in your constitution. Perhaps on the mind?

Q4.     What did you find most interesting (if at all), in this month’s study?

Most interesting thing I found in this month study is the discovering of the connection between the astrological signs and their corresponding rays, as well as the Labours of Hercules. Though for me, I still don’t comprehend very well about the Labours of Hercules. Good obervations.

The Labours of Hercules describes the journey man goes through from ordinary man right up to mastership via the twelve signs. Hercules starts out in Aries where he makes many mistakes as a personality and keeps learning his lessons until eventually in Pisces he is a world savior. Each myth carries important lessons that Hercules had to learn and challenges that he had to overcome.

Aquarius is the second sign from the end, which is Pisces, where Hercules will be a world disciple. In Capricorn, the sign before Aquarius, Hercules reached the mountain top, was initiated and could have stayed in that supernal light but instead he turned his back upon the light and wentdown the mountain to help humanity. This is also depicted in the story of Moses going up the mountain to receive the ten commandments and then climbing back down to serve humanity. Aquarius is about service. Hercules had to clean out the filthy stables - quite a menial job for a high initiate that he was. He used his mind (Aquarius is an air sign, mental) to come up with the solution. He also used the waters of the rivers (although an air sign Aquarius is much associated with water, even the word aqua meaning water in latin is in the name Aquarius) Waters usually refer to the waters of life. Hercules received no accolades for his work, which served humanity. He just did it because it had to be done.

If you have read the Labour there is much more there but the crux of the Labour is described above.

If you have an opportunity to read all the Labours, I highly recommend it. They are beautifully written by DK and there are explanations and meanings offered following the Labour so one learns a lot about astrology and the signs this way.

MEDITATION

1.      What was the Raja Yoga meditation theme this month?

The Raja Yoga meditation theme of this month is Hindrance to Union 3 - Desire or Attachment

2.      What insights did you gain in your Raja Yoga meditations this month?

Desire is also what makes us suffer. Our soul is truly free when we are free of desire and attachment, when our consciousness focuses inward and upward. Yes. Very good, Daisy. We must remember how insidious desires are from a simple “I want to have ice cream to I want a new pair of shoes and so on. Desires are wants and there is big difference between desires and needs.

3.      What did you learn about your tendency to grasp and hold to the material world and its attractions, as a result of your study and meditation work? What did you learn about others and the world in this regard?

The more I go along with study and meditation work, the more I find inner peace within and the less of desire on outer material things. I’ve learned and appreciated what are core to life, what matter most, which are often more of spiritual values. However, the majority of the world at the moment is still very much attached to the illusions of the material world as we can see its consequences in advertisements, pro-benefits of mainstream capitalism, competitions and wars for resources… Luckily, though still small, there is a growing trend of spiritual movement, especially among young generations nowadays. Very well expressed and understood Daisy. I agree that there is a small growing trend of the spiritual movement. Humanity has definitely come a long way in the last hundred years but alas, still so far to go. We are told that humanity is on the brink of going through its first initiation. How will the world look and be after that????

Thank you Daisy for all your insights and the fine work you produce.

With love and light,

Eva

Oneiric Discipline

Dream Catcher - (Unknown source)

Learning notes from the lecture "Oneiric Discipline" on 11.06.2016 at Sharing Coffee, HCMC.

When we dream, our consciousness go to different dimension. Oneiric discipline allows us to awaken our consciouness during sleep. It leads us to the state of Lucid Dreaming in which we can directly investigate the superior worlds. Dreams are mirror of our astral experiences, of our inner world, of our subconscious. They reflect at night what is going on inside us during the day.

How to remember our dreams

Preparations: before going to sleep

- Have a light dinner (heavy dinner gives us indigestion, affecting our solar plexus).
- It is advisable to take a short walk in fresh air before going to sleep (or meditate, or just simple physical relaxing practice which gives a break to our intellectual mind).
- The bedroom should be clean and orderly. Bedhead should be oriented towards North to respect the magnetic flow of the Earth. Three primary colours can be used to decorate the bed room: Red, Yellow and Blue.
- Avoid noises.
- Mattress should be neither too hard nor too soft.

Yoga of Sleep

* First, check our inner states.
- Activate the superior emotional and intellectual centres (ex. reading philosophical books).
- Go to sleep in a state of profound relaxation. The most elevated from of thinking is non-thinking.
- Listen to Beethoven and Mozart. Beethoven's music is especially suitable for working with the superior emotional centre.

*Lying face-up, with eyes closed and hands on the solar plexus.

* Concentrate on Morpheus. Morpheus is the Greek God of Dreams, representing of one part of our Being that shapes symbolic dreams to instruct us. Morpheus is responsible for activating our consciousness, instructing us into the Mysterius of dreams.
- We can take lion posture (lying on the right side, palm under our cheek) - The Buddha's Paranirvana.

* Write down our dreams: notebook and pen near bed, easy to find. Write down all our dreams every morning, as much as we can remember. (even only small fractions) All details are important. Review our notebooks on a regular basis (monthly), in order to understand the common thread.

* When waking up, try not to move, as the astral body will move also and we lose the memory of the dream. Repeat the mantra to help remembering our dreams: RAOM - GAOM. (RAOM is also a powerful mantra to stimulate our heart chakra). Repeat it mentally, gently again and again, until the images of the dreams appear (stay 5 minutes in bed and repeat the mantra).

* Initiating Element: what appears repeatedly in dream, either a symbol, sound, color, person...On waking (eyes still closed), visualizing the initiating element, we try to fall asleep again. We can ask our Divine Mother for the initiating element for lucid dream.

Morpheus  - Painting by Soni Alcorn-Hender

How to interpret our dreams

1. Law of Affinity. What we dream has a similar meaning.

Ex. We lack balance while biking? --> We may lack balance in our everyday life.
We find ourselves in a labyrinth? --> We may feel lost in the labyrinth of our mindblock.

2. Law of Contradiction. What we dream has an opposite meaning in reality.

Ex. We laughed in dream while we may soon suffer in reality.

3. Law of Numerology and Kabbalah.

- Phonetic Kabbalah
- Symbolic Kabbalah
- Numeric Kabbalah

Ex. An initiate asked how long until he obtains a power. The answer is 8 (days). But in numeric Kabbalah, 8 also means "Patience", among other things.

Ex. We go to Rome. Phonetic Kabbalah: ROMA - AMOR = LOVE --> warning about finding love. Name of some person has meaning.

The 4 Lights of Sleep

1. Light of Revelation. (in the first hours of sleep)
2. Light of Magnification
3. Light of Immediate Realisation (real meaning)
4. Light of Profound unner Enlightenment

Worlds of Dreams

I started to study courses of Universal Anthropology and Philosophy by AGEAC Vietnam at Sharing Coffee (69 Vo Van Tan) every Saturday morning (10:00 - 11:30). Our nice Teacher is Ms. Mihaela from Romania. I enjoy the courses very much.
AGEAC (Geophilosophical Association of Anthropological and Cultural Studies) is a humanistic, philosophical and anthropological institution whose raison d'être is to investigate the cultural values immersed in the traditions, folklore, mythology, philosophy, art, customs and beliefs of all peoples of antiquity with the aim of extracting from them the principles and values that allow the modern man to live in a more conscious and intelligent way.

Although AGEAC studies, among many other aspects of the human culture, the different religions that have existed in the world, our institution is not any religion. AGEAC respects the individual beliefs of its affiliates, and to its courses attend people of different faiths and philosophies.

AGEAC ( Geo philosophical Association of Cultural and Anthropological Studies) opens a new series of lectures dedicated to inner knowledge and meditation.
(See more at AGEAC's website http://ageac.org/en)
Next Wednesday there will be the first lecture for the new series (new phase) from 6:30 pm: The causes of our sufferings.

"Knowing yourself through self observation, dreams, meditation, it's the only way to find the answer to the questions: Who am I? What is the purpose of my existence? What is my vocation? etc.

The key of all this answer is your hands in your daily life circumstances, through your oneiric experiences, between your different types of relation (family, friends,..).

We wrongly believe that the causes of our sufferings are outside, due to the way that others treat us, due to the lack of materialistic things and so on. But they are deep inside us part of our psychology, in our psychological disorder. So if we need to end all of that we need to start from knowing our self, learning to be aware, transform impressions and put order in our own psychology.

This lecture will be followed by others lectures related to awakening of the consciousness, the universe of mind, meditation and so on.

Know yourself and you will know the Universe and the Gods ( Inscription on the frontispiece of the Temple of Apollo, Greece)"

Here are some notes from the lecture "World of Dreams" on 4th June 2016.

*****

The Transcendence of Dreams (Lecture's Notes)

"A man is known by his dreams." ~ Plato

Through our dreams we can know more about ourselves.
Prophetic dreams, deja -vu: "Dreams are warnings from God about future events." ~ Plato

"Dreams are the royal road to the Unconcious." ~ Freud

"In dreams our Unconcious becomes manifested and then we can discover some of our psychological facets unknown to us." ~ Carl Gustav Jung

"The language of dreams is exactly comparable to the language of parables. The images of the supra-sensitive worlds are wholly symbolic. Even the apparently most absurd dreams contain the greatest revelations if you interpret them wisely." ~ Samael Aun Weor

For the Egyptians, dream interpretation was an important science. Dreams are symbolic and we can decipher the mysteries of life and death. We can use dreams to self-discover, to receive answers, initiations... Symbolic dreams reflect the reality of the inner world.

Mind is energy. Brain is only an instrument to capture this energy. The state of unconsciousness in which we live, with a too heavy egoic load, makes it impossible for us to bring to the physical body the awareness of the experiences we have in the astral body.
Einstein, the father of the Theory of Relativity, demonstrated that if we vibrate the atomic structure of any material object at the square of the velocity of light (300000 km/s), it leaves the physical plane and penetrates the energetic one. Namely, there exists a bridge between those two worlds - matter and energy - which is simply determined by the inner velocity of vibration of the bodies.

Above and below the physical and material region where we live, there exist other regions or worlds of manifestation which are not physical, and yet they are as real as this one. One of those world is, precisely, where we go every night while our physical bodies sleep in bed. Our psychic material, namely, our Consciousness trapped in all the undesirable elements that make up the Ego, the "Myself", escapes the body in those moments and, free from the shape, it lives in regions that are parallel to this physical and three-dimensional one where we live during the day. Such a region is also where the deceased go when they are disembodied.

This Astral world is the "Fourth Dimension" of modern science, where "Time" no longer works according to the criteria we have at present. The past and the future become brothers in an eternal present, and one may gain access to yesterday or tomorrow from the very today... For this reason, Plato said that it is possible to see scenes of our own future in dreams.

The divine which exists within man, may guide him in his life very accurately. "A dream which has not been understood is like a letter which has not been opened..." ~ Talmud - a sacred Jewish book.

This is why among the ancient peoples, such as the Babylonians and Assyrians, any man who wanted to make an important decision asked his oneiromancer - interpreter of dreams - for advice first.

To the Egyptians, for instance, interpreting dreams was a terribly sacred, religious and scientific art. History tells us how the very Greek Gods, who quite liked to take part in the mortals' daily lives, sent messages in dreams which had to be interpreted by analysing the symbols comprised in such oneiric experiences.

Types of dreams

Mechanical dreams: related to the facts we are experiencing. And transcendental dreams which are prophetic or symbolic.
It is not neccesarily that all dreams may be transcendent in our lives, because many of them are the result of the world of wishes which hides in the human subconscious, as Freud said.
While the body sleeps, the ego lives in the inner worlds and travels to different places. In the inner worlds we are tested many times. In the inner temples we receive the initiation. It is necessary to remember what we do outside the body.
Beside the five inferior centres of our organic machinery, we have two other centres: the superior intellectual and emotional ones. The dreams related to the two superior centres are very interesting.

It is useful to receive messages and to be in contact with Aztec, Maya, Toltec, Egyptian, Greek and other adepts. It is also wonderful to speak with the diverse higher parts of our Being (the divine that we have inside). The divine manifestations may, quite easily, make us receive a message to solve the dilemma we have and, consequently, they may influence positively the destiny of our lives. When the superior centres are fully unfolded within us, it is easy to receive this kind of superior message which we must learn to grasp consciously.

When we begin to realise the deep meaning of the specific type of dreams, it means that certain forces are fighting to awaken, heal or cure us. By carrying out a rigorous study of the superior type of dreams, we may find the well-known prophetic or warning dreams, and symbolic dreams.

Those who have dissolved within themselves the whole of the psychological aggregates and enjoy having a completely awakened consciousness have access to a superior language, a magic and powerful language.

Saigon Vegan Festival & Joyful June Dinner

I had a nice evening last Saturday with lots of fun at the vegan pool party in Sun Rise city, enjoying the company of these kind and so friendly new friends. We did some yoga breathing, playing team games ('Plant' vs. 'Power') with some stretching, balance and quiz. Then we enjoyed delicious vegan food together over sunset. We then visited Janny's appartment and playing some strange cards and then the interesting Werewolf Game. Each of us took a role in an imaginary village, where some could become werewolves at nights...

Saigon Vegan Festival is a project by Tyra Nguyen, with monthly Vegan festival events in Ho Chi Minh city, where vegans can come to enjoy food, networking, getting to know each other and playing together. Sharing the dream of animal lovers, vegan practitioners, environmentalist and those who have a beating heart for this wonderful Earth and Life, Tyra initiated a website to promote this true way of living in harmony with ethics and nature. Notes and photos by Tyra on Saigon Vegan Festival

- An exclusive venue with a stunning view and ambience!
- A great stretch with breathing exercise led by Tarun Tri!! (& an unforgettable arm + leg pull game too hehehehe)
- A super fun vegan quiz with a "terrible" vegan punishment!
- A great meal by chef Thanh Phuong with the Cha ca La Vong roll!
- A lovely weather with only a few drops and no rain!!!
- A great host team (Janny, Alexis, Huyen) running up and down, back and forth so we can have a smooth night!
- A strangely non-related party games (Against Humanity + Werewolves) HAHAHA

I've got to say this dinner is so far the most time and effort consuming for me as the organier. And the result turned out so good, with big help from Janny (the co-organizer and host), and Dylan (my source of encouragement and support). For sure, all friends who joined were there to chip in their smiles, cheer, hands, heads, feets... Thank you all from my heart!!!

We had fun, very light yet deep fun!

Storytelling Saigon #1

"As humans, we love stories. They have been shared in every culture as a means of entertainment, education, cultural preservation and instilling moral values. Now is your chance to hear and see people’s personal tales in an on-stage format yet to be tried out in Vietnam. Narrated by a wide variety of people from different backgrounds, this should be a fascinating night and one certainly not to be missed. (Word Vietnam)

If you are interested in attending our FREE WORKSHOPS on storytelling/public speaking please join our growing Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/875908592519678/

For more information about storytelling as an artform please see below:

In the spirit of The Moth (https://themoth.org/) or RadioLab (http://www.radiolab.org/) or This American Life (http://www.thisamericanlife.org/), we want to introduce everyone to the intimate art of storytelling. :)

Storytelling is the conveying of events in words, sound and/or images, often by improvisation or embellishment. Stories or narratives have been shared in every culture as a means of entertainment, education, cultural preservation and instilling moral values."
