GQ1: 2. Pisces Meditation and Study Report

GQ1-2 INTRODUCTION TO THE SEVEN RAYS

Study: For three months, we study the Seven Ray energies, and how they affect you and other people. As you study and observe, your eye will begin to discriminate between these various spiritual forces. This study and practise will help you to understand yourself and your make-up more clearly, and what you need to change or strengthen, in order to bring about a closer alignment with your soul. It will also help you to do the same with others. This work is foundational in the Science of Esoteric Psychology, and success will expand your knowledge, your understanding, and your consciousness.

In this first month you will gain an overview of how the rays affect the bodies. You will work intensively with the three major rays (1, 2, 3): one week per ray. Please read the information, do the ray meditations, watch the videos, observe life - then write what you have seen and learnt in your report.

Meditation: this month focus is upon "the Master", and it should be remembered that the immediate Master of the life for all of us is the Solar Angel, our guide and mentor for aeons. However, once we are upon the Path we are also affiliated with one of the Seven Ray Ashrams, which are headed by the Masters of the Wisdom - the Spiritual Hierarchy or White Brotherhood. This meditation seeks to bring about a closer union between the student and the Master.

STUDY

Q1. What do you think you will personally gain by studying the Science of the Seven Rays?

By studying the Science on the Seven Rays, I learn more about human nature and this is really  interesting.

You will also learn more about yourself, your energies, your strengths and weaknesses and follow the aphorism “Man know thyself”.

Q2. What is the effect or impact of this information upon your consciousness?  Which particular Ray Lord and His work are you most drawn to, and why?

This information has broadened my mind and expanded my consciousness.

I'm most drawn to Ray 2 - The Lord of Love and Wisdom. These qualities are close to my nature and to what I'm striving for. When thinking of it, I feel sweet, calm, contentment and blissful.

This is good. You have identified probably your soul ray as most people drawn to this work do have second ray souls.

Q3. Ray 1:

3a. Name one world figure living today who you think is a good example of this ray.

Warren Buffett. It is important to justify your answer. Why do you think Warren Buffett has 1st ray. Personally I think he is more 3rd ray, than 1st because of his financial success, his understanding of money and economics.

Examples of 1st ray people would be Putin, a strong leader who shows little compassion at this time. Anyone in politics probably has first ray somewhere in his makeup.

3b. Do you think this person is working at the personality level, and is therefore using this ray energy selfishly; or do you think the person is soul conscious because the ray energy is being used altruistically and inclusively? What is it that you see that determined your choice?

I think Warren Buffett is soul conscious as the ray energy is being used altruistically. He is a well-known leader in his business and also a great philanthropist. I would agree but the important word you use is philanthropist which falls under the category of 3rd ray.

3c. Do you think you have this ray in you? Why or why not?

I think I have this ray in me, though it is not my major ray and somehow still hidden. Normally, it does not manifest much in my daily life. However, when facing problems, it is my endurance and optimism that often lift me up.

First ray is strong, fearless, unemotional, cold, leader, has a large perspective. This doesn’t sound like you, does it, Daisy?

Q4. Ray 2:

4a. Name one world figure living today who you think is a good example of this ray.

Master Thich Nhat Hanh. Agreed.

4b. Do you think this person is working at the personality level, and is therefore using this ray energy selfishly; or do you think the person is soul conscious because the ray energy is being used altruistically and inclusively? What is it that you see that determined your choice?

I think Thich Nhat Hanh is soul conscious as the ray energy is being used altruistically and inclusively. He is a great Master and Healer, spreading Love and Wisdom through his teachings and his way of living.

His work is primarily of Love and compassion much like the Dalai Lama.

4c. Do you think you have this ray in you? Why or why not?

I think this is my key ray, the most ray that I am identified with. I feel compassion for all beings and I'm a truth seeker, a life learner, always eager to learn from the wisdom of the old and new sages.

Sounds like you have landed on your soul ray.

Q5. Ray 5:

5a. Name one world figure living today who you think is a good example of this ray.

Stephen Hawking. Yes. Good.

5b. Do you think this person is working at the personality level, and is therefore using this ray energy selfishly; or do you think the person is soul conscious because the ray energy is being used altruistically and inclusively? What is it that you see that determined your choice?

I think Stephen Hawking is soul conscious as the ray energy is being used altruistically and inclusively. He is a great mind, impressive with his theory on cosmology. His vision and thinking are ahead of time.

5c. Do you think you have this ray in you? Why or why not?

I think I have to some extend this ray in me as I'm interested in modern science and philosophy.

Science, both maths (not higher maths), and the area of Sciences – medicine, engineering, nursing, psychology all fall under the 5th ray category. Philosophy is more of a 3rd ray science that of understanding of money, the abstract, finance, economy, philosophy.

Q6. Is there one particular video which really helped you to tune into the energy and purpose of the ray?

This is the Metta Prayer with soft, sweet music and peaceful animation that really helped me to tune into the energy and purpose of the ray 2.

MEDITATION

1.      What was the Raja Yoga meditation theme this month?

The Raja Yoga meditation theme of this month is "Master in the Heart”.

2.      What insights did you gain in your Raja Yoga meditations this month?

The power of visualization and affirmation, it is really amazing! Through carefully and persistently visualizing, imagining and loving effort, we can "build the Master in our Heart”.

Remember that the Master can in fact be the Master of the Soul, which is the master in the heart.

3.      What did you learn about yourself this month, as a result of your study and meditation work? What did you learn about others and the world?

What we pay attention to, we pour our energy into it and help manifesting it into our reality. So, if we want to connect with our Soul, we should focus and orient towards all the soulful, divine qualities and try to develop them in our daily life.

Beautifully said, Daisy. What we focus on we make happen. “Energy follows thought”.

4.      THE FULL MOON MEDITATION: Please include insights you gained, or any thoughts at all about this meditation experience.

I waked up at early morning, nearly exact the full moon time (1:20 am) for meditating. Feeling peace, calm, fresh and compassion.

5.      Misc: How was the general quality of your meditation this month? Have you managed to establish a regular pattern of meditation? Are you experiencing any difficulties in your meditation work? If so, please explain.

It is good. I have meditated regularly. I'm not experiencing any difficulty.

Good report, Daisy. Keep up the good work.

With light and love,

Eva
