GQ2: 2 Aquarius Meditation and Study Report - Esoteric Astology 3

Study: this month you have been asked to do a Ascendant - Sun - Moon esoteric astrology reading for a famous person.

Raja Yoga Meditation: this month we begin MEANS 2 of Raja Yoga - THE RULES. Violation of these rules results in karmic debt. So the earnest student studies the Rules closely, and brings the life into line with these spiritual instructions. The first rule is PURIFICATION.

STUDY – ESOTERIC ASTROLOGY READING FOR PRINCESS DIANA

Q1. What do you think the spiritual status of the person is? Why?

I guess Princess Diana would be at the Disciple stage on the Spiritual Path. Her life has many manifestations of a soul’s qualities such as her loving, caring for the weaks, the poors, protecting the environment, etc.

Q2.      Moon Sign: in your opinion, did the prison-pattern demonstrate through this person’s persona - particularly the meaning behind the personality statement or “words”? If yes, how and where? If no, why not do you think?

Princess Diana’s Moon Sign is Aquarius. The prison-pattern did not demonstrate through Princess Diana. The personality statement for Aquarius is “Let desire in form be ruler” with the prison-pattern of egocentric and selfish motives. It is obvious that she is giving, caring and loving.

Q3.      Sun Sign: can you see the negatives and positives of this sign play out in the character? How and where? Which of the two sets of instructions or “words” did the personal respond to most? How so?

Princess Diana’s Sun Sign is Cancer. The negative traits of Cancer are defensive, touchy, overemotional, oversensitive, moody, clingy and these did not play out in Princess Diana. The positive traits of Cancer are emotional, sensitive, warm, giving, considerate, loving, compassionate… and we can see that these played out clearly in her giving, loving nature and her works in helping the weaks and the poors.

Yet, we did see how overly sensitive she was to the press, what they said about her. She often would hide her face so as not to be seen by them.

Q4.      The Ascendant Sign: is this person demonstrating (did this person demonstrate) their soul purpose, as represented by the Ascendant Sign and its rays? If so where and how? If not, give an opinion as to why not.

Princess Diana’s Ascendant Sign is Sagittarius. The soul’s purpose for Sagittarius Rising is to focus the mind and life-force and to uplift humanity on high and lofty goals at the group awareness level. Lady Diana demonstrated her soul’s purpose through many of her charity works and humanitarian activities. She also raised awareness on environmental protection and social issues such as AIDS, poverty, drug problems and homelessness. Yes. Good.
Q5. Summary: As a concerned friend - and using one sentence only for each level, what advice would you give to a person with this combination, to

a. overcome the Aquarian Moon pattern:  Be selfless and use your originality for service to others and community!

b. strengthen the positives of the personality (Cancer Sun):  Let your loving and giving nature pour out like a tender and nurturing flow!

c. that will lead the person to fulfill soul purpose (Sagittarius Rising): Let your Light of Love and Wisdom radiate!

MEDITATION – NIJAMA

What was the Raja Yoga meditation theme of this month?

The Raja Yoga meditation theme of this month is Nijama – Purification.

What insights did you gain in your Raja Yoga meditations this month?

I’ve learned that it is important to be aware of illusions, and that all of them are mostly in the world of forms. Only through purification of our lower bodies, our senses can be controlled by the soul and thus we may have correct perception of reality.

Did you find the emotional purification exercise helpful? If so, how?

Yes, I did find the emotional purification exercise very helpful. It can help us grounding and not be drifted away with the flow of emotion.

Do you have any question?

From the teaching, it seems that we need to be free from the world of form (desirelessness) as they are illusions. However, I think we somehow physically live in the relative “reality” of form, and our physical body, though a lower body but still a part of us. Thus, the world of form is still relatively a part of the reality but not just illusion?

You bring out an important point here Daisy. On the one hand it is said that All is Illusion. Why, because all that we live is not the Real. On the other hand we are immersed within the three worlds of men – the physical/etheric, the emotional and the mental. What we must learn is not to be attached to the form life. To live in the form but not be of the form. The more we can let go of our attachments, the freer we become to life as soul/spirit. It’s our attachments on all levels that keep us on our treadmill, from one incarnation to the next.

First we must recognize our attachments:
Physical: what comforts do we need or desire, what foods are we attached to? What about sex, drink, etc.
Emotional: this is the hardest one to let go of. Attached to our families, friends, to our desires, etc.
Mental: attachments to ideas, concepts, our belief systems, our ideals whatever we think they are, etc.

Well done Daisy. Your understanding of Diana’s astrology is very good.
Light and love
Eva
