Tippi was born and raised almost completely in the wilderness of Namibia, where she had lived her first ten years in a fairy and wonderful world spreading from mountain to dry desert of Kalahari. Fearless Tippi grew up, running free with the wild animals there. Elephants, leopards, ostriches, lion cubs, giraffes…treated her as one of their own, letting her cuddle them, dance with them, and even ride on their backs. Tippi also befriended the Bushmen tribe, “who have known how to live in the wild for hundreds and hundreds of years and they don’t care about time, nor money.”
Tippi’s adventurous life in Namibia was published and translated in several languages. Her book, Tippi of Africa, with amazing photos taken by her parents (the French wildlife photographers), has become a bestselling novel. Tippi is now studying cinema in Paris. She also returned to Africa to make nature documentaries for the Discovery Channel.
Tippi of Africa
Tippi and Cheetah
Don't be afraid to be weak
Don't be too proud to be strong
Just look into your heart my friend
That will be the return to yourself
The return to innocence
If you want, then start to laugh
If you must, then start to cry
Be yourself don't hide
Just believe in destiny
Don't care what people say
Just follow your own way
Don't give up and use the chance
To return to innocence
